AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov today visited the daytime in-patient facility in Bishkek, which was opened to provide medical assistance to citizens, the president's press service reported.
Four such centers function in the capital, five more centers will be opened in near time, Bishkek Mayor Aziz Surakmatov said.
This is one of the centers where citizens may obtain consultations and first medical aid, he added.
The Director of the united Family Medicine Center of Pervomay district of Bishkek, Munarkan Omuralieva, briefed the President about work of the center. All gaps found in work of the earlier opened daytime in-patient facilities were addressed, she said.
Medical professionals are provided with all necessary personal protective gear, she added.
During conversation with medical workers, the President said opening of the in-patient facilities in the capital is timely, since earlier citizens had problems with access to healthcare service amid spike in coronavirus cases and pneumonia.
