AKIPRESS.COM - The quarantine period for Covid-19 is shortened in Uzbekistan from 14 to 10 days.
"The incubation period of airborne viral infections makes 14 days. The world experience shows it takes 5 days from contraction of coronavirus infection to development of symptoms and person becomes contagious during 7 days after emergence of symptoms," Prof. Habibulla Akilov explained during a briefing today in Tashkent.
Mobile teams will be set up in Uzbekistan to provide medical care to people receiving treatment from coronavirus at home and quarantined persons.
