AKIPRESS.COM - Ex-Deputy Prime Minister Altinai Omurbekova left the State Service for Economic Crime Combat after questioning, she said on her social media page. She was asked several questions concerning humanitarian aid from China, she said.
"I want to say the following to those who hasted to condemn me for alleged sale of medicines and medical supplies to other countries: at my initiative the resolution was issued to ban export of medicines and medical supplies during the pandemic. Check information before accusing anyone. The most important now is to defeat virus, the rest is not that important," the ex-Vice Prime Minister said.
Altinai Omurbekova today was summoned for questioning in connection with the cirminal probe launched into corruption and lobbying of interests of some pharmaceutical companies.
