AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Health in Kazakhstan Aleksey Tsoy suggested for school students to study remotely in the following year during government meeting today.
1,700 cases among confirmed 61,000 COVID-19 cases account for children.
"We find it appropriate to arrange distance learning for schools during first quarter of the year, not including small schools, due to growth of flu and COVID-19 cases," the Minister said.
He noted that start of studies at schools may lead to growth of coronavirus cases among children and wider society.
