Uzbekistan to supply 30,000 packs of anticoagulant to Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov told a press briefing yesterday 30,000 packs of Heparin injections will be supplied from Uzbekistan in near time.
"We have talked with Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov. They produce heparin. We will bring 30,000 packs within a week," Boronov said.
The talks are also held in Iran, India, Pakistan and the CIS states. A large of consignment of 4-5 titles of medicines, which are not available in pharmacies in Kyrgyzstan, will be delivered from Iran in the nearest time.
According to the Kyrgyz government, pharmaceutical companies brought around 8,000 packs of Clexane and some 20,000 packs of Heparin.
With resurgence of COVID-19 cases and pneumonia, Kyrgyzstan encountered shortage of medical workers and medicines. The prices for earlier cheap medicines soared.
Heparin injection is an anticoagulant. It is used to decrease the clotting ability of the blood and help prevent harmful clots from forming in blood vessels.
