22,000 packs of anticoagulants to arrive in Kyrgyzstan by July 20

AKIPRESS.COM - Over 5,000 packs of fraxiparine are expected to arrive by July 20, Medicines and Medical Equipment Department Director Gulmira Shakirova said at the briefing on July 15. According to her, 1000 packs of enoxaparin, 1000 packs of clexane, 15,000 packs of heparin will also be delivered.
"This volume of drugs is also not enough. In this regard, supplies of drugs from China, India, Pakistan and the CIS countries are being discussed," she said.
These drugs are anticoagulants used in treatment of COVID-19 to help prevent harmful clots from forming in blood vessels.
