50 ventilators and other essential medical supplies arrived from Turkey

AKIPRESS.COM - Turkey provided another humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan as part of the fight against COVID-19, the cargo was delivered to Kyrgyzstan at 11 a.m. on July 15.
The President Sooronbai Jeenbekov and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed Memorandum of Understanding on the provision of humanitarian assistance in the health sector as a part of the agreements reached following a July 6 phone talk.
In accordance with the agreement reached between two governments, Kyrgyzstan receives the following essential equipment and supplies:
- 20 ventilators;
- 50,000 N95 respirators;
- 100,000 medical masks;
- 35,000 protective overalls;
- 2,000 protective shields;
- 20,000 RT-qPCR SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCov) test kits;
- 20,000 SARS-CoV-2 nucleic detection kits;
- 10,000 packs of hydroxychloroquine;
- 50 oxygen concentrators.
On February 11-12, the Ministry of Health of Turkey donated to the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan 200 test kits, 5,000 single-use masks, 200 coveralls, 100 masks and 12 goggles.
