President Mirziyoyev orders to bring oxygen concentrators to Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev tasked Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov to bring oxygen concentrators and pulse oximeters to Uzbekistan, president's press service reports.
The President gave such task during a video conference on Tashkent COVID-19 situation on July 20.
"Patients with pneumonia in foreign countries can breathe easier using masks with oxygen concentrators. Doctors monitor blood oxygenation with pulse oximeters," statement says.
Special plane will arrive to buy this medical equipment if needed.
The President also requested to ease shipment procedures for entrepreneurs with oxygen concentrators.
Hospitals need more than 1,000 oxygen concentrators in Tashkent.
Mayor's office in Tashkent, Ministry of Internal Affairs and region governors will be responsible for oxygen supply at hospitals.
