AKIPRESS.COM - The man thought to have died from coronavirus appeared to be alive.
The video went viral on social media, showing the volunteer of the Proactive Youth Center crying after the man they tried to rescue died. She said the man asked to tell his daughter that he loved her.
The police launched investigation to check which hospital in Bishkek refused to admit the man.
During investigation volunteer Sofia-Aidana Murzaeva said at 10.50 p.m. on July 16 the Center received a report saying a man is losing consciousness in Ak-Orgo micro-district.
When they arrived at the scene, volunteers found a sitting man with shortness of breath. He was taken to the nighttime in-patient facility. However, the man was not admitted there. Volunteers asked medical workers to put the man on oxygen. One of doctors told volunteers 10 minutes later that the man died.
However, the man turned out to be alive. This is 45-year-old Joloman Karimshakov, who lives in Archa-Beshik micro-district.
"I was drunk at around 10.00 p.m. of July 16. My blood pressure heightened and I was lying on the road. Volunteers were passing by and took me to the hospital. On the way to the hospital I lost consciousness several times. When I regained consciousness, I saw a girl, I told her: "You are around age of my daughter. I love her very much. If I die, tell her that her father loved her" and then I lost consciousness again. When I opened my eyes, I saw that I am in hospital with intravenous drips. Then I left home with permission of doctors," Karimshakov said.
He said he feels well now and the case will be closed.
