AKIPRESS.COM - Citizens of Kyrgyzstan and other countries who won the green card filed lawsuite against U.S. President Donald Trump, RIA Novosti reports on July 22.
"Citizen of Kyrgyzstan Utkirbek Abdumominov had won the green card and moved to USA to prepare for his family's arrival. His family however did not manage to come to U.S. due to COVID-19 restrictions. Their visas expired now," said the report.
Citizens of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Palestine, Egypt and Syria had to face the same problem.
"American consulates in the world do not give visas and organize interviews due to pandemic, except for emergencies. Aside from that, Trump in April temporarily stopped access for some citizens, including those who had won green card and were at different stages of US visit registration," the report said.
