Brazil reports new record number of COVID-19 cases

AKIPRESS.COM - The record number of 67,860 new COVID-19 cases is registered in Brazil since the beginning of the pandemic as of July 23, Ministry of Health reports.
The previous record 54,771 cases were registered on July 19.
Majority of cases are in Sao Paulo.
Brazil is the second place after USA for coronavirus cases in the world.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Brazil is more than 2.2. million. 82,890 people died, including 1,284 in the previous 24 hours.
