Uzbekistan to extend quarantine

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev agreed with the national commission on the decision to extend quarantine, he stated this during video conference on July 23.
Extension of quarantine restrictions is needed to slow down the spread of coronavirus and decrease number of fatalities.
Mirziyoyev noted that government officials, governors, healthcare workers, police officers and others are responsible for providing medical help for population. It is very important today to work together against pandemic, he said.
The president's press service did not elaborate on long the quarantine will last now in Uzbekistan.
