New bridge constructed in Nookat district

AKIPRESS.COM - A new bridge was constructed in Nookat district of Osh region, Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
The opening ceremony of a new bridge above mudflow diversion canal Ak-Say was held in Besh-Burkan village on July 22.
Emergency Minister Zamirbek Askarov, region officials and locals attended the ceremony.
"If there are some problems with the bridge, just tell us, our workers will address any irregularities in a week," Askarov said.
Villagers earlier collected money and built a bridge. It was however of a poor quality and was destroyed by mudflows. There were cases when children fell into canal before.
