Uzbekistan to produce COVID-19 test systems

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan starts to produce tests for coronavirus, the Ministry of Innovative Development reported.
"The mass production of Biotest-SARS-CoV-2 reagent kit, developed by scientists at the Center for Advanced Technologies under the Ministry of Innovative Development, is designed for determination of RNA of the SARS-CoV-2, which causes acute respiratory syndrome COVID-19," statement says.
Biotest-LAB at the Center for Advanced Technologies is producer of the systems.
The Ministry noted that Biotest-LAB can cover need for 20,000 tests per day in Uzbekistan with production of 500,000 systems a month.
