AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health did not prohibit receiving assistance, Health Ministry spokeswoman Ainura Akmatova said at the briefing on July 28. According to her, there were reports that the heads of healthcare organizations were banned from receiving humanitarian aid from international organizations, businessmen and volunteers.
"There were no official instructions from the Ministry of Health, no official orders banning the acceptance of humanitarian aid. The Ministry of Health did not give such instructions to any region of the country," she said.
Akmatova thanked the volunteers, international organizations, businessmen and residents of the country who have provided the necessary assistance to hospitals, doctors and the health system in general.
