AKIPRESS.COM - The number of ambulance visits in response to calls by patients with coronavirus and people with fever declined slightly in Bishkek, intensive care specialist Nadejda Azarova said. The difference is not that big, but the tendency of decline in calls is observed, she added.
"The peak of overwork for ambulance service occurred in late June-early July. This was the busiest time for us," she explained.
During peak of cases in Bishkek, some 5,000-6,000 calls to ambulance service were received a day. Some calls were responded late. Such late responses reached up to 300, Nadejda Azarova said.
"Now we see decline in calls to ambulance service: 2,000-3,000 calls a day in average. Around 10 calls are responded with delay," Azarova said.
