Alisher Usmanov donates $10 million for Uzbekistan's medical workers

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan-born Russian billionaire and philanthropist Alisher Usmanov donated $10 million to Uzbekistan.
This money and additional $100 million from the public budget will be given as additional payments to medical workers of ambulance services.
According to the decision of the government, ambulance personnel will receive additional payments for their work on Covid-19 frontline.
Doctors will receive $500, middle-level medical personnel $400, drivers $300 in addition to their salaries.
These payments will be given only to those who have been working before June 1, 2020, UzA reported.
