Koi-Tash trial moves online

AKIPRESS.COM - The trial into the events of August 7-8, 2019 in Koi-Tash will be held online, one of the defedants, Kunduz Joldubaeva, said.
The video teleconferencing link has been arranged with the Bishkek remand prison No. 1.
Former President Almazbek Atambayev, his advisor Farid Niyazov, MP Irina Karamushkina, MP Asel Koduranova, ex-MP Ravhsan Jeenbekov, Meerbek Miskenbaev, SDPK party spokesperson Kunduz Joldubayeva, Atambayev's former bodyguard Kanat Sagymbaev, Marat Shamenov, Rysbek Karypbek uulu and others are on trial.
During attempted storming of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev's residence to detain him on August 7, 2019 dozens were injured and 1 national security task force deputy commander was killed. 6 SWAT soldiers were taken hostage and released the next day. The second storming on August 8 ended with Atambayev's arrest.
