Kyrgyzstan evacuates 7,986 citizens from Russia in July

AKIPRESS.COM - 7,986 citizens of Kyrgyzstan returned home by 35 charter flights and 32 bus rides from Russia in July, Kyrgyzstan's Embassy in Russia reports. Kyrgyz citizens returned from Moscow, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Orenburg, Samara, St. Petersburg.
22,440 citizens have returned from March 20 to August 3 since Kyrgyzstan stopped air traffic with Russia.
Kyrgyzstan organized 93 charter flights and 52 bus rides through Kazakhstan's territory.
The Embassy has noted that flights with Russia have not been resumed yet and Russian-Kazakh border is closed due to COVID-19 outbreak.
The Embassy has asked citizens not to travel to the Russian-Kazakh border.
