Central Banks of Uzbekistan and Russia to cooperate to counter cyber attacks

AKIPRESS.COM - Central banks of Uzbekistan and Russia will cooperate to counter cyber attacks, Uzbekistan's Central Bank press service says.
Central Bank of Uzbekistan and Central Bank of Russia signed a memorandum of understanding on countering hacker attacks.
The memorandum foresees interaction between the central banks to prevent and detect hacker attacks in banking telecommunication systems, to create conditions for their suppression and to increase the level of information security.
"Cooperation in countering hacker attacks will contribute to the development of information security in the banking system and increase the effectiveness of preventive strategies. Specialists will be able to identify the causes of hacker attacks, respond to them and perform other tasks related to eliminating their consequences," the Central Bank of Uzbekistan noted.
