Russian medical professionals to arrive in Uzbekistan to aid COVID-19 battle

AKIPRESS.COM - A team of Russian medical specialists will be dispatched to Uzbekistan to help their Uzbek colleagues in fight against coronavirus infection, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said, Izvestia reported.
"We continue our international activities. I would like to note our specialists returned from Kazakhstan having performed their tasks. A group of specialists is being prepared for departure to Uzbekistan," the Health Minister said.
Uzbekistan has so far confirmed 31,545 coronavirus cases.
The strict quarantine restrictions were extended in Uzbekistan until August 15.
