AKIPRESS.COM - Hospitals in Kyrgyzstan have around 13,000 beds, more than 50% of them are free, Bashkortostan Vice Minister of Health Yevgenii Kustov told the online briefing of Russian medical professionals and Kyrgyz government on further actions in coronavirus combat on August 12. Doctors can see positive dynamics: the number of patients admitted to hospitals with coronavirus is less than the number of recovered patients, he noted.
"Dynamics is positive, the number of cases decreased. This shows that the prevalence rate is declining and the situation becomes more stable," he said.
Pulmonologist Lilia Kozyreva noted a huge work carried out in diagnostics and treatment of patients. Patients start recovering after coronavirus.
Local and Russian medical workers exchanged experience and insights during two weeks of joint work.
"We can see positive dynamics in hospitals and outpatient clinics. I have already found out about new drugs, new treatment methods which I might have missed out. This cooperation assists both medics and patients," she said.
The group of Russian medics arrived in Kyrgyzstan in July. They worked in red zones of hospitals of the country and shared experience with local colleagues.
