Around 160,000 in Kyrgyzstan estimated to have recovered from coronavirus and pneumonia

AKIPRESS.COM - According to estimations, around 160,000 people in Kyrgyzstan have had coronavirus infection and pneumonia, Deputy Health Minister Madamin Karataev said. "When we studied the course of disease in terms of its severity, we found 36.6% of coronavirus patients did not have symptoms, 29.7% had mild symptoms. That is, 66% of cases were asymptomatic or had mild symptoms. 4.6% of patients had extremely severe form and 9.6% of patients had moderately severe form," Karataev said.
The number of registered cases made more than 41,000, including those people who sought medical assistance.
"According to our estimations, 160,000 people had this disease," Karataev said.
