Infectious Diseases Hospital in Bishkek still receives only patients with COVID-19

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health said the National Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital in Bishkek will receive only patients with COVID-19 and pneumonia, this way correcting Deputy Health Minister Madamin Karataev, who had told a briefing earlier today this Hospital will receive patients with measles, hepatitis, acute enteric diseases.
"The National Infectious Diseases Hospital will admit patients with severe forms of coronavirus and pneumonia. Patients with moderate forms of coronavirus may visit the Clinical Hospital No. 6," the Ministry of Health said.
Children with acute enteric infections are received by the Children's Hospital, adults are admitted to the Chui Regional Hospital.
"Patients with hepatitis and meningitis may visit the National Hospital. All hospitals admit patients following referral by the Family Medicine Centers," the Ministry stated.
