AKIPRESS.COM - Muslims gathered in mosques across Uzbekistan for first collective prayers after introduction of quarantine, the Administration of Muslims of Uzbekistan said.
The prayers maintained social distancing, wore masks, their hands were disinfected and they passed through disinfectant tunnels at entrance to the mosques.
The collective prayers were performed after 5-month break.
Uzbekistan prohibited collective prayers, Friday prayers among them, since March due to coronavirus pandemic.
