Kyrgyz Health Ministry considers vaccination of population against coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health is considering vaccination of population against coornavirus, Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev said. "We need vaccination. Prior to that we need to study what share of population had coronavirus and acquired antibodies. We need to study the virus circulating in our country, since stains may be different," the Deputy Health Minister said.
Deputy Health Minister Usenbayev reminded the scientific advisory board was set up by the Turkic speaking countries.
"Turkey is also developing coronavirus vaccine and we may visit their factory to become familiarized with the process. As for the Russian vaccine, we need to visit the plant and study it. This issue will be considered further," the Deputy Health Minister said.
It was announced earlier Russia registered the world's first coronavirus vaccine on August 11.
