Children infected with HIV at hospitals to get compensations since 2022

AKIPRESS.COM - President Sooronbai Jeenbekov has signed the amendments to the law on HIV/AIDS, the president's press service reported.
The amendments were passed by the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on June 24, 2020.
Children infected with HIV at public or municipal hospitals will be paid 100,000 soms compensations in lump sum.
The amendments will apply to minor children infected with HIV since 23 August 2005 after the law on HIV/AIDS entered into force.
The amendments will become effective since 1 March 2022.
