AKIPRESS.COM - Friday prayers are permitted in mosques of Kyrgyzstan since August 28, the Central Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan said.
Mosques should ensure strict adherence to sanitary requirements and COVID-19 precautionary measures.
The premises and territory of mosques should be disinfected regularly. Visitors should keep 1.5-meter distance and wear masks. Handshakes and hugs are prohibited.
Elderly people, people with chronic medical conditions, children are not recommended to attend collective prayers to avoid risk of COVID-19 transmission.
Friday prayers may be performed for no more than 15-20 minutes indoors.
Collective prayers are recommended to be held outdoors.
