AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan has become the world's biggest gold seller in July.
According to the World Gold Council, Uzbekistan sold 11.6 tons of gold in July.
Mongolia is on the second place in gold sales. This country exported 6.1 tons of gold.
Russia and Germany sold 500 kilos of gold each.
Turkey is on the first place in the world in gold purchases in July 2020 with 19.4 tons of gold purchased.
Qatar has purchased 3.1 tons of gold, India bought 2.8 tons, Kazakhstan - 1.9 tons, Ukraine - 300 kilos of gold.
According to the World Gold council, 1 g of gold at the world gold market was sold for $58 in average.
