16 pregnant women have died from COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - 16 pregnant women have died from COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan since coronavirus outbreak, Prof., obstetrician-gynecologist Arsen Askerov told a briefing today.
They had severe forms of coronavirus infection, he said.
In accordance with the protocol of the Ministry of Health, mild forms are treated at home in self-isolation under control of family group practitioners, whereas moderate and severe forms are treated in hospitals.
536 pregnant women recovered from coronavirus infection in total. They remain under medical observation, he said.
