AKIPRESS.COM - There are 1,064 libraries and 58 museums, both private and state-run, in Kyrgyzstan, according to spokeswoman of the Ministry of Culture Ainura Asanbayeva.
Since September 14, all libraries and museums resumed operation after coronavirus-linked lockdown, she said.
The facilities work in line with the algorithm of actions developed by the Ministry of Health with all sanitary norms observed.
Initially, libraries were to reopen in June, but because of the worsened epidemiological situation, the lockdown remained, Asanbayeva said.
