AKIPRESS.COM - Government of Mongolia held an extraordinary meeting at the request of the State Emergency Commission and made a number of decisions on easing some Covid-19-linked restrictions.
Government allowed cultural and mass events, trade, production and entertainment centers to reopen from September 16.
Schools, universities and kindergartens will resume from September 21.
The 14-day self-isolation requirement will be abolished.
At the same time, state and local administrations and judicial institutions will be in high-alert mode until October 31.
It means Mongolia has returned to normal life, but the borders remain closed.
The country reported only 311 coronavirus cases, all of them are imported. 301 of them have recovered and no deaths were reported.
