National AIDS Center to make HIV tests at Bishkek markets until end of September

AKIPRESS.COM - The National AIDS Center in cooperation with partner NGOs has launched the annual HIV testing campaign at the markets of Bishkek.
HIV tests will be conducted throughout September from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.
The National AIDS Center noted growth in sexual transmission of HIV.
Relatively stabilized situation with COVID-19 allows to cover the population groups considere as hard to reach for the healthcare system, the Center said.
The tests will be anonymous and free.
Saliva-based tests will be made allowing to deliver results in 20 minutes.
