Mongolia and Turkey discuss cooperation issues

AKIPRESS.COM - Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Turkey held virtual consultation meeting on September 25. The 5th consultative meeting was co-chaired by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Head of the Directorate-General for Bilateral Policy Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged information about the present Mongolia-Turkey relations and cooperation, regional and international issues, and reduction of the spread of the pandemic. Moreover, the parties concurred to pay special attention to further economic cooperation within the framework of expanding relations, increase trade, and intensify cooperation in the fields of agriculture, tourism, culture, humanitarian and energy, Montsame reports.
They also agreed to study the possibility of organizing a meeting of the Governments' Joint Committee on Economy and Trade, an important mechanism of bilateral relations, in the near future.
