Mongolia, FAO sign agreement to implement project to boost agricultural exports

AKIPRESS.COM - Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia S.Mendsaikhan and Resident Representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Mongolia Vinod Ahuja signed an agreement to implement the project supporting export capacity enhancement for diversified, high-value livestock products-Technical assistance for strategy development from 2020 to 2022. The project aims to improve the competitiveness of the livestock farming sector, increase meat export, and boost value chain development, Montsame reports.
To reach these goals, a detailed analysis of the sector's foreign sales will be conducted. The most important part of the project is the development of a long term national strategy for supporting agricultural exports.
