Uzbek border guards hand over Tilek Matraimov to Kyrgyz side

AKIPRESS.COM - On October 9, Uzbek border guards handed over Tilek Matraimov, Ziyabiddinbek Kochkorbaev and Mahsud Akhmedov to the Kyrgyz side, the Kyrgyz State National Security Committee said.
These persons were detained on October 6 by Uzbek border guards for illegal crossing of the state border.
Pre-trial investigation of illegal crossing of the state border started.
Detainees were taken into the temporary detention facility of the State National Security Committee.
Tilek Matraimov served as former mayor of Kara-Suu district, Osh region. He is a relative of ex-Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Service Raimbek Matraimov.
