Kursan Asanov leaves Interior Ministry's building

AKIPRESS.COM - Kursan Asanov has left the buliding of the Interior Ministry, the Interior Ministry's press office reported. "In these days of a political crisis in the country, defense and law enforcement agencies should remain beyond politics and should not be used as a tool for attainment of selfish goals by certain groups," the statement said.
"The staff and veterans of the Interior Ministry united. We have one goal - to bring peace and stability to the country. In connection with that Kursan Asanov left the Interior Ministry's building," the press service said.
Ex-Deputy Interior Minister Kursan Asanov became acting Interior Minister after post-election protests.
