AKIPRESS.COM - "The resolution of the Parliament approving Sadyr Japarov as Prime Minister was not submitted to me for signing. It was not signed yet," Vice Speaker Mirlan Bakirov told AKIpress on October 11.
The extraordinary session of the Parliament was held in Ala Archa State Residence on October 10, where Sadyr Japarov was approved as Prime Minister, his government and program were approved. Several experts and lawmakers said the quorum was not met yesterday and as such the session could not be held at all.
Bakirov said the session was opened by Speaker Myktybek Abdyldayev with two issues on agenda.
"I continued holding the session after resignation of Myktybek Abdyldayev as Speaker. The draft of resolution and the decision of the general committee of the Parliament were passed with the majority of votes, including proxies. In view of the situation, the procedure was continued [in form of the general committee of the Parliament]. The resolution is now in the executive office of the Parliament. It will be considered, drawn and will be then sent to me for signing. Since I was holding the session, I should sign it," the Vice Speaker said.
The President issues the order after all documents are formalized, the Vice Speaker said.
