AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Head of the Russian President's Administration Dmitry Kozak arrived in Bishkek by order of Vladimir Putin, the press service of the Kyrgyz President said.
On October 12, President Sooronbai Jeenbekov held a meeting with him. Prime Minister hopeful Sadyr Japarov also took part in the meeting. Details of the meeting were not reported.
"President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov held multiple telephone conversations with President of Russia Vladimir Putin from the first days of the crisis. Kyrgyzstan and Russia are allies and strategic partners, as well as members of the CSTO, EAEU, CIS and SCO. The Russian side expressed concern over the current situation and offered its assistance in resolving the crisis immediately," the press service reported.
