Kamchibek Tashiev appointed as State National Security Committee Chairman

AKIPRESS.COM - Mekenchil party leader Kamchibek Tashiev has been appointed as Chairman of the State National Security Committee.
The respective order was signed by acting President, Prime Minister Sadyr Japarov on October 16.
This information was confirmed for AKIpress by PM Japarov's press secretary Dastan Dushekeyev.
Bekbosun Apsatarov was appointed Director of Anti-Corruption Service of the State National Security Committee. He was member of the Council for Selection of Judges.
Rustam Mamasadykov was appointed as First Vice Chairman of the State National Security Committee. He held the post of Vice Chairman of the State National Security Committee since February 2019.
Kamchibek Tashiev freed his friend Sadyr Japarov from prison at night of October 5-6 after the post-election protests turned into unrest and demonstrators took over the White House, the building shared by the Parliament and the President.
Kamchibek Tashiev was near Sadyr Japarov all the last days of transition of power in Kyrgyzstan.
