Export of gold grew by 36.7% in 8 months

AKIPRESS.COM - The foreign trade turnover amounted to $3.5 billion in January-August 2020 and decreased by 22.1% year on year, according to the National Statistics Committee. Exports increased by 3.5% amounting to $1,264.3 million.
Exports increased to due increase in export of gold by 36.7%.
Share of gold in total volume of exports increased from 40.3 to 53.2 percentage points.
