AKIPRESS.COM - Zamin Foundation led by Uzbekistan's first lady Ziroat Mirziyoyeva supported the project on automation of air pollution monitoring.
The initiative will be carried out in 3 stages. The first stage of the project was already accomplished, when 63 monitoring stations were united into one analytical center. The results of the monitoring can be tracked online at monitoring.meteo.uz and in AirUz mobile application.
The second stage of the project will include installation of automated air monitoring stations all over the country and adoption of international standards for air pollution monitoring.
The third stage of the project will integrate the results of monitoring in the geoinformation database of the country and international information systems.
"The stations will be installed on grants. The quality of air will be monitored every hour in accordance with international standards. Citizens will track the degree of air pollution in their places of residence and its causes," the Foundation's press service reported.
