Kyrgyzstan has stable COVID-19 situation - Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan has stable COVID-19 situation, Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev told a press conference today.
Spike in new coronavirus infections is observed since the end of September, he said.
"There are different methods to evaluate the epidemiological situation development. We use reproduction number today, which reflects ability of one infected person to transmit infection to others. If it is within 1, this means stabilization of the situation on a certain level. If it is less than 1, it means decline. We hope we will keep on this level," the Deputy Health Minister said.
Kyrgyzstan has confirmed 400 new Covid-19 cases by the morning of November 3. These cases included 109 pneumonia and 291 PCR confirmed coronavirus cases.
