AKIPRESS.COM - The Prosecutor General's Office began its work on acting President's Sadyr Japarov's amnesty initiative, said Prosecutor General Kurmankul Zulushev.
Japarov announced previously a planned amnesty for people convicted of minor offenses or convicted illegally.
Zulushev said people detained for political reasons or are already serving their sentence have the right to apply to the Supreme Court for review of their cases under new circumstances.
