American company obtains industrial inflow of hydrocarbons from Darakhtli field in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - U.S.-based Epsilon Development Company said it completed workover of previously abandoned Darakhtli-1 well (Kultak-Kamashi investment block) in Uzbekistan. The resulting post-frac daily flow rate is 150,000-200,000 m3 of gas and 10 t of oil. The confirmed C1 and C2 reserves of Darakhtli field exceed 2.5 bcm of gas, 127,000 t of condensate and 29,000 t of oil.
The well will be connected to the main pipeline by November 7 to begin supplying the population with natural gas.
All works fully comply with sanitary-epidemiological and environmental requirements, the company said.
EDC runs energy projects in Uzbekistan since the beginning of 2019. The company plans to invest around $5.2 billion in oil and gas sector of Uzbekistan by 2023.
