U.S. Ambassador promises General Prosecutor's Office to arrange virtual meetings with FBI, Drug Enforcement Administration

AKIPRESS.COM - First Deputy Prosecutor General Nurlan Dardanov had a virtual meeting with U.S. Ambassador Donald Lu on November 3, the General Prosecutor's press service reported.
The Deputy Prosecutor General briefed the U.S. Ambassador about work carried out on fight against trafficking in persons.
The U.S. Ambassador expressed readiness to provide assistance to General Prosecutor's Office in this fight, continue cooperation in counteraction to corruption and repatriation of stolen assets.
The U.S. Ambassador also reportedly expressed readiness to arrange virtual meetings with representatives of the Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Justice to establish contacts and discuss relevant aspects of the above issues.
