Japarov praises SCO countries for mutual assistance in Covid-19 response

AKIPRESS.COM - The COVID-19 pandemics proved effectiveness of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, acting President and Prime Minister Sadyr Japarov said during the SCO virtual summit on November 10. The SCO countries demonstrated solidarity and mutual support in COVID-19 response, he said.
"We need to continue exchanging epidemiological and organizational experience. We need to support SCO mechanisms in healthcare, sanitary and epidemiological well-being," Japarov said.
Sadyr Japarov noted a significant contribution of China in fight against coronavirus through delivery of humanitarian, technical and medical assistance to many countries in the world.
"We are grateful to China for a significant support in fight against coronavirus infection. We are thankful to the SCO members and observers, including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, India and Iran for provided humanitarian and medical assistance. We highly value provided assistance," Sadyr Japarov said.
