Kyrgyzstan sees second coronavirus wave - Health Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan is having the second coronavirus wave, Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said.
The Health Minister explained spike in coronavirus cases with pre-election campaigning, elections and post-election protests.
"Sanitary requirements were not met during those events. Spike in daily coronavirus cases is observed since October 20," the Minister said.
"I visited regions and hospitals, met with doctors. The coronavirus situation is unstable in Bishkek, Osh and Batken regions. Other regions see decline in daily cases," the Health Minister said.
