Japarov tells when ex-President Jeenbekov may face prosecution

AKIPRESS.COM - Ex-President Sooronbai Jeenbekov may be prosecuted in case it is proved that he was involved in grave crimes, acting President and Prime Minister Sadyr Japarov told a press conference today.
Japarov was asked whether Sooronbai Jeenbekov may be stripped of ex-President status and be held accountable in line with the laws in case his involvement in corruption is proved.
"No crimes by Jeenbekov were proved so far," Japarov said.
