Russia to send 50,000 coronavirus test kits to Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - As part of his working visit to Russia, First Deputy Prime Minister Artem Novikov met with the head of federal service for supervision of consumer rights protection and human welfare, chief state sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation Anna Popova.
They discussed joint fight against COVID-19 and ensuring epidemiological security.
Novikov thanked Russia for assistance during the hard coronavirus times.
He highlighted the role of a group of Russian medical professionals in overcoming the coronavirus when it peaked in Kyrgyzstan in July.
They also discussed medical humanitarian support to Kyrgyzstan.
Russian side confirmed it is ready to send 50,000 coronavirus test systems to Kyrgyzstan.
